Job Details

What you'll do
  • Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods according to TBM DMS tool.
  • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance activities in the cell.
  • Carry out routine inspections and TBM activities on machines to avoid malfunction and other problems with equipment.
  • This might include replacing parts and checking & inspection of lubrications, vibrations, parameters, etc.
  • Respond to breakdowns and repair the equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and breakdown problems.
  • Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
  • Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
  • Manage stocks of supplies and equipment.
  • Ordering and installing replacement parts.
  • Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs by maintain statistical and financial records.
  • Carry out quality inspections on jobs.
  • Share improvement ideas and achievements with other cell areas, customers and other engineering and production colleagues.
  • Supervise and train reliability technicians and production operators to increase the staff capability.
  • In some cases, machines that no longer work simply cannot be repaired due to the age of the machine or the cost of the repairs.
  • It is then the responsibility of the Reliability Engineer to install new equipment with VSU standards.
  • Cooperate with Cell HPS & Reliability Engineers to develop standards and improving the effectiveness of the activities.

Skills and Requirements
  • Min bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a relevant field such as mechanical, electrical, industrial, or systems engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels;
