What you'll do
  • Be part of North America Analytical Solution Group located at Bridgewater, NJ working in the ASG for structural characterization of materials such as polymer morphology, thermal analysis, rheology, colloid science to tackle challenging customer issues; conduct major root cause analyses leading to comprehensive solutions for Henkel Adhesive businesses to gain or secure the accounts as well as providing support to product development.
  • Be the technical lead and perform analyses for polymer and materials characterization. Conduct analyses of industrial adhesives and functional products using a broad range of instrumentation.
  • Work with technical teams, propose analytical solutions, design, and carry out experimental plans and procedures using modern analytical tools. Analyze and summarize experimental results independently and communicate with the business partners to ensure on-time delivery of the results and provide proper solutions.
  • Follow lab quality control and quality assurance practice; maintain high quality data in a fast-paced environment, prepare clear analytical reports, method SOPs, and instrument calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Traveling of up to 10% may be requirred.

What makes you a good fit
  • Ph.D in the field of Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Science, Colloid Science or Chemical Engineering with strong instrumentation background in polymer characterization, or M.S. with extensive work experience.
  • Expertise on microscopy, thermal analysis, surface analysis, rheology characterization technique is a plus.
  • Capable of interpretation of complicated analytical results on complex sample matrices.
  • Effective written and oral communication as well as excellent interpersonal skills needed.
  • Self-motivated, excellent communicator, and team player.

Employee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares The salary for this role is $95,000.00 - $105,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
