What you'll do

• Develop new products for semiconductor packaging and encapsulation
• Lead formulation of new adhesives and material property testing
• Lead product development effort for overall project objectives
• Work cross-functionally with internal technical and commercial team members
• Support R&D projects critical to business
• Support forecasting of technology roadmap development (TRM)
• Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Business Unit
• Create test plans for material formulation and property testing
• Contribute to generation of Intellectual Property (IP) in line with Henkel business objectives

What makes you a good fit

• Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science, with 15+ years of experience in Chemical Industry
• PhD preferred, with 3+ years of experience in Chemical Industry
• Experience in encapsulation, semiconductor, and/or epoxy chemistry is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Suite
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Comfortability being on site at our Irvine office

The salary for this role is $110,000.00 - $132,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
