Job Details

What you'll do
  • Conduct, analyze and validate LCAs and product carbon footptints for technology roadmaps, innovation pipelines and commercial offers to customers
  • Conduct LCA calculations according to different methodological standards (e.g. ISO), Interpret & present results according to Henkel-specific reporting format
  • Advice, support and train business partners Monitor general and industry specific standards, norms, guidelines and their relevance to Henkel LCA (e. g. ISO, PEF, TFS, etc)
  • Own the governance process and sageguard data quality for environmental data in the division
  • Together with internal stakeholders, define LCA- methodologies and data governance according to regulations and norms and ensure divisional needs are considered on related process and tool development processes
  • Advocate in external initiatives, associations and gremia that focus on relevant LCA topics in order to drive Henkel Packaging & Consumer Goods interests, shape reporting standards, and gather scientific insights

What makes you a good fit
  • Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the chemical industry
  • Know-how in performing LCA calculations and generating key performance indicators with tools like SimaPro combined with expertise in LCA standards (ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067) and industry guidances (TFS, Catena-X, Pathfinder)
  • Ability to effectively communicate LCA concepts and negotiate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve alignment on methodologies and results to drive initiatives forward
  • Fluent English skills
