This position is specifically designed for medical students and medical graduates intending to pursue urology match in the United States. The candidate will me mentored in urology research including basic science, outcomes, translational, and clinical trials. The candidate with acquire skills in database management, data analysis, manuscripts writing and publication. The candidate will also gain hands on experience in basic laboratory research skills and contribute to basic science manuscripts and grant applications. In addition, there is an opportunity to spend up to 16 hours each week as Clinical Assistant in urology ambulatory clinics to enhance clinical management skills. The candidate will demonstrate scholarly activities including publications of peer reviewed manuscripts, acceptance of peer reviewed abstracts at local, regional, and national professional society meetings. The candidate with actively participate in the weekly academic conferences of the urology residency program.
