About this Position

  • Contributes to strategic, tactical planning. Participate pro-actively in teams and demonstrate personal contributions.

  • Develop innovative analytical methods to meet technical challenges and solve customer problems.
What you'll do
  • Responsible for material characterization related analysis and maintenance of responsible instruments in Adhesive innovation analytical team independently.
  • Communicate with internal requester in understanding the analytical needs and design proper experiments to deliver analytical solutions independently.
  • Communicate with supervisors & colleagues in understanding assigned tasks and deliver with visible outcomes.
  • Develop innovative analysis methods for better support of various adhesive business.
  • Train technical people on material characterization fundamentals / operations / successful application cases.
  • Lead key projects by leverage various technical resources and coordinate communication between Henkel internal requester and analytical team
  • Ensure compliance with Henkel SHE and 5S standards, policies and procedures and manage the daily work to maintain 5S/safety at required level.
  • Take part in other team activities and provide proactive contributions to team.

What makes you a good fit
  • Maters with >5 years experience or PhD.
  • Polymer or Material related background.
  • Experiences of Spectroscopy & thermal analysis is necessary.
  • Additional experiences in other analytical technics such as Rheology, Raman or SEM are a plus.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Quick learner, results oriented, open-minded, good communication skills & collaborative mindset.
