Fostering Social Worker - £43k a year + benefits - Low caseload
I am currently working with one of the counties leading Fostering teams as they seek to expand their team within 2018 due to a restructure within Children's Services.
As a result of this restructure, they are seeking to expand their talent pool in order to help accommodate for the expected growth of the service.
What they can offer you:
- Highly competitive salary given the projected market average for 2018 (Typically 6% higher than surrounding Local Authorities)
- Capped caseload system in place - You will have a maximum caseload of 15 at its highest point. (Average is 12 per Social Worker)
- Golden Hello upon completion of probation (£2,000 when you're successfully inducted into the organisation)
What it means to practice as a Supervising Social Worker:
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of Foster Carer's and their placements.
This is an opportunity to build long-standing and meaningful relationships with individuals who are looking to build and possess a strong and loving family unit with some of the most vulnerable children within society.
You will have a direct positive impact on children and families in the long-run; the role is less about putting fires out and more about actually helping develop children and prepare them so they have the best chance of a bright future.
Any interested applicants would benefit from sending their CV to firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively you can call Liam Woods on 0207 940 2100 for a confidential discussion to determine your options and future prospects.
