Clinical Geneticist

Division of Genetics and Genomics, Department of Pediatrics 

Applications are invited for a full time faculty position as Clinical Geneticist with a particular interest in Biochemical Genetics in the Division of Genetics and Genomics in the Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Department of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. We are seeking an outstanding board-certified and licensed clinical geneticist to join a vigorous clinical program directed toward the diagnosis and care of children with genetic and biochemical disorders as full time clinician.  There will be an opportunity to participate in translational or clinical research with relevance to genetics and genomics. Board certification in Medical or Clinical Biochemical Genetics is preferred.

The Division consists of over 15 clinical and biochemical geneticists and 10 laboratories, and resides within a very strong research and clinical community in genetics, developmental biology and related disciplines throughout the Harvard Longwood Medical Area.  The successful candidate also will be expected to take advantage of the many opportunities for teaching house staff and medical students at Boston Children’s Hospital and will be proposed for a Harvard Medical School faculty appointment at the level of assistant or associate professor depending on qualifications.
