A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Support team where you will have the opportunity to work on a number of cases that are unique to the location.
- Knife Crime, CSE, Gang Violence, Domestic Violence
- Develop experience in emerging themes & receive specific training

This is an excellent opportunity for Social Workers who are keen to develop their experience in specialist areas ranging from gang violence to radicalisation as these issues are, unfortunately higher than average in the authority. You will receive in house and external training covering all of these issues and you will also have the opportunity to work in the local authorities dedicated exploitation team which aim to provide a early rapid response to identified cases.
The Local Authority has made significant improvements since its last Ofsted given the elevated volume of high profile cases which the authority have to deal with. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of service users and the authority has been praised on its partnership working with other agencies which is continuously developed and strengthened.
To be considered for this post you should have experience for working in a Child Protection service.
