Research Assistant - Lifelong Health Research Group
Fixed term contract available immediately until 31 December 2019.
The Lifelong Health Research Group strives to ensure that care for women and their infants is effective, and that treatment benefits outweigh harms. The Group's motto is start early, stay healthy, stop obesity.
Located at the Women's and Children's Hospital and working under general direction, the Research Assistant provides practical, research and administrative support to the research leaders of the team and senior staff to ensure smooth and successful performance of the research program.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of research methods
- Demonstrated organisational and interpersonal skills within a research/clinical trials area
- Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines and to prioritise tasks
- Competency in the use of computer software and experience in the use of MS Office software
