The Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) is the flagship unit for applied social science research at UQ and one of the largest social science research institutes in Australia. The role

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for the effective, efficient and high-quality delivery of ISSR's commercial and training activities, predominantly focused on professional development courses. The position will manage the administration, marketing and liaison with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality courses and exceptional customer service. The business development coordinator will also assist in the development of new courses and commercial activities for ISSR.

 

The person

Applicants should possess qualifications in Marketing, Communications or other relevant discipline with at least four years subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You will have proven project/program management experience in developing, implementing and evaluating successful programs and/or commercial activities such as training courses.  You have demonstrable communication and/or maketing skills to promote and attract participation in activities, particularly using digital platforms.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $85,222 - $93,085 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $99,709 - $125,048 p.a.).
