Event coordinator Project Manager - - Swiss Orthopaedic & dental products

We're working with a global giant in the Orthopaedics and dental sector, and including sites in Switzerland. An interesting position has just come about for a project manager and event coordinator for activities within our client's Medical Education division, EMEA. and with responsibility for Educational Site Visits and EMEA Tour management. This is a great opportunity to develop your international experience and be a part of a truly global team.

Working closely with country business partners you will prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects, schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.

Overall the main focus of this role, however will be working together with surgeons, Product and Brand Managers, Country Managers, distributors, senior management to develop unique programs for training and Education, and conduct accurate learning needs analysis to ensure appropriateness of instructional materials at events in close interaction with the learning development team

The preference in background for a role such as this would be a Bachelor's degree, preferably including formal studies in education and/or business, with 7-10 years of experience in a similar function, and having worked directly with customers, opinion leaders, technical experts and professional staff in medical device or healthcare industry previously.
Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills as well as solid organizational skills are required as is fluent English and German.
Travel of around 20% is expected
