The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit clinical group practice affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking an additional   full-time academic Transplant Nephrologist for its expanding Transplant Program in the Division of Kidney Diseases and Hypertension of the Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the multidisciplinary GW Kidney Transplant Program, including evaluating and managing transplant candidates and living donors as well as staffing an in-patient transplant service. This non-tenure track appointment will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Nephrology, and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, at the time of appointment.   Applicants must have completed transplant nephrology training in an accredited transplant fellowship program and must satisfy the United Network for Organ Sharing requirements for designation as a primary kidney transplant physician.  Applicants must have a record of experience and a commitment to maintaining a research program and is expected to participate actively in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
