The University's Strategic Program Office(SPO) plays a critical role in enabling UQ to deliver on its core functions of learning, discovery and engagement, while transforming the manner in which strategic initiatives are planned and delivered. The Strategic Program Office oversees projects which seek to position UQ as providing a world class student and employee experience leading to enhanced satisfaction across both critical groups.

The role

The Change and Communications Specialist will deliver change management planning and implementation for a range of projects enabled through the SPO, including communications, stakeholder engagement, education and training, embedding and sustaining change and benefits realisation. This role will work closely with the Strategic Engagement and Change Manager, supporting a range of activities and tasks to meet the SPO's operational requirements in fulfilling its objectives and goals.

The person

You will be a change practitioner with end-to-end change experience, including Change readiness and impact assessments, communication writing and engagement activities. You will have a variety of change experience, including on medium to large scale change processes.

Prosci certification is highly desirable but not essential.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for 3 years at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $96,466 to $108,318 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $112,865 to $126,732 p.a.)
