UQ Human Resources is responsible for enabling achievement of the University's strategic ambitions through attracting and developing high performing staff, and delivers high quality advice and support to our clients on all aspects of HR and people matters.

HR is currently undergoing significant transformation (including new systems, specialist services, process review and redesign, and improved data and analytics capability) to become one of the leading HR functions in Australia, and is building a team of exceptional HR professionals to provide customer focused and contemporary solutions and services for our clients.

Due to an internal secondment opportunity, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join the Recruitment Services team.

The Role

The Recruitment Advisor provides end-to-end recruitment and selection services for a dedicated client portfolio, and provides advice and support on recruitment and selection policy and procedures, development and/or design of position descriptions and advertisements, candidate care management, and expertise to Chairs, Hiring Managers and key stakeholders during recruitment and selection activities.

The position is located on the picturesque St Lucia campus , although you may be required to work from other campuses as required.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in business, human resources or a related field plus relevant recruitment experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Your passion for recruitment, along with your ability to effectively build relationships with key stakeholders and clients, strong organisational and time management skills, and outstanding communication skills are essential. Your excellent computer skills and experience in using eRecruitment systems would be highly regarded.

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $77,400 to $83,267 per annum, plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5% (Total Remuneration package will be in the range $84,753 to $91,177 p.a.)
