A market leading company specialising in life saving diagnostic equipment are actively developing their team of software engineers and require a JAVA Software Engineer to join them at their site based close to Cambridge, UK.
As a JAVA Software Engineer, you will experience both technical and commercial aspects to your role as not only will you be in charge of installations and programming, you will also have the opportunity to liaise with different hospital professionals on a daily basis and provide support to clients all across Europe. You will play an integral part of the team in the development of these devices, as well as providing recommendations for the future pipeline which is key to this company's future success. This position is initially being offered as a contract role for 3-6 months, however given the growth plans of this company there is a strong chance the role will be turned permanent.
Key Requirements for this JAVA Software Engineer position include:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience within software development
* Experience with JAVA is essential
* An educational background within software engineering or a related discipline
* Fluency in English. Other European languages are beneficial but not essential
* An understanding of REST, SPRING and Agile process
Candidates must be based close to Cambridge, UK or have the ability to relocate to the region
