International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University invites applications for positions of Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in the Economics Division. Expertise in all fields of economics are welcome, including areas such as statistics, econometrics, applied microeconomics, macroeconomics, behavioural and experimental economics, and environmental economics. An ability to teach courses a wide range of courses in the broader field of economics at undergraduate and graduate level is needed.

Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is a unique collaborative institution, the first and currently the only university in China to offer both UK (University of Liverpool) and Chinese (Ministry of Education) accredited undergraduate degrees. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Applicants should possess an excellent teaching portfolio, and preferably, experience teaching in a research-led university. In addition, the candidates must hold excellent reputation and impact in their respective fields of teaching.
2. Applicants should be excellent educators with experience teaching and designing courses as well as supervising student dissertation at all levels - including undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Experience teaching in executive programmes is also welcome.
3. Applicants should be willing to and/or experienced in managing programmes.
4. Experience teaching and managing diverse cohorts is also required.

The salary range for the positions is 21,611 - 33,222 RMB/month (Teaching Fellow), and 21,616 - 46,041 RMB/month (Senior Teaching Fellow). In addition, members of academic staff are entitled to accommodation and travel allowances, medical insurance, and relocation expenses. Overseas staff may receive a tax holiday of up to three years, depending on nationality and personal circumstances.
