The Chemical & Biochemical Sciences department (CBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is recruiting an Assistant Professor position for a full time permanent position. CBS welcome applications in the area of Applied Biotechnology and Biocatalysis. Successful candidates will work in the front line of CBS research fields with a strong focus on innovation in both academic and applied sectors, and in close collaboration with international academic and industrial partners.

Applicants with completed Ph.D. in the field of Applied Biotechnology and Biocatalysis will be encouraged to contribute with her/his skills and experience to the research and teaching activities of the CBS department. Besides expertise in Applied Biotechnology and Biocatalysis (Biochemistry and bio-engineering, Microbiology and biotechnology, Biocatalysis and bioremediation, Analytical chemistry, Metabolomic analysis), successful candidate will be involved in teaching (Biochemistry, Biocatalysis, Bioprocess engineering, Innovative biotechnologies.). Candidates with excellent communication skills, who enjoy working in a team, are encouraged to apply. A good to high level in oral and writing in French and English is mandatory.
