Assistant Officer (post level 13) (contract appointment: until May 2020)

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Liaise with 83 IBP Centres.
  • General office administration.
  • Assist presenters with filling in claim forms.
  • Liaise with presenters for studio recording bookings.
  • Assist the ICT Team with logistical arrangements.
  • Assist the IBP Team with event coordination (training).
  • Work as a helpdesk agent to support remote schools.
  • Follow up with the FSDOE regarding training sessions.
  • Assist the broader IDEAS LAB team as and when needed.

Inherent requirements:
  • Grade 12.
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience in office administration.

Required competencies:
  • Microsoft office.
  • Experience in supporting ICT projects in school education.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • The ability to function independently.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results orientated.

  • B degree.
  • Experience in the higher education sector.
  • Fluent in English and Sesotho.

Assumption of duties:

As soon as possible.
