The School of Veterinary Science
The School of Veterinary Science has a rich history having been founded in 1936 and has a well-deserved reputation for graduating self-reliant, independent and highly capable veterinarians with plenty of initiative and drive. The School has high quality facilities at the UQ Gatton Campus and maintains a clinic at the Dayboro north-west of Brisbane.
The role
The primary role of the position is to coordinate, participate and provide support to the teaching, and research missions of the School of Veterinary Science in Production animal and other Large Animal fields. The successful applicant will be expected to proactively contribute to other Faculty teaching areas, as necessary.
The person
Applicants should possess a Bachelors Degree in Science or relevant discipline with at least four years subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and or education and training. You must have extensive experience in field work with large animals and working knowledge of the practical management of production animals in Australia.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $77,400 - $83,267 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $90,558 - $97,422 p.a.).
