Manage and Established Team

A Local Authority based in London is seeking an experienced Social Work Manager to join their Complex Care team. This is an established team which is able to work autonomously and with staff working well with each other

Highlights:

  • The Local Authority use the Think Family approach and have been doing loads of work around the sharing of information between services to provide a more holistic package of care

  • Local Authority is part of a regional teaching partnership which enables its staff to attend a range of training and development courses
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager or even those candidates who have extensive experience and are looking to take the step up into management. The Local Authority has done loads of work recently around the sharing of information in order to provide a more holistic package of care to its service users. The sharing of information has also reduced the workload on Social Workers as they are no longer having to chase information but instead this is readily available to them.

    As a Team Manager you will be managing a small team who are established and able to work autonomously. As the team is small you will be able to provide more 1 to 1 support with you staff, however you will also have the time necessary to complete your operational management role and ensure the team is performing well.

    Those established managers who are interested in applying will be encouraged to use their previous experience coupled with their creativity to implement ideas which may improve performance of the team. This gives you the opportunity to really have an impact on the future of the service.
