Job Details
A UK consultancy based in the North East is looking for a SOC analyst to join and help run its SOC. They are expanding rapidly having had 400% growth so far this year and are expecting similar numbers next year. With this expansion in mind, the SOC will just get bigger and bigger in time and you'll be able to step up into a role with more responsibilities and technically a bit more challenging.
The SOC is only part of their business as they have other silos doing different things, this means that you're not just going to be in a place full of SOC people but will get to mix with pen testers, people in GRC and compliance and GDPR specialists giving you a broader idea of what the cyber industry is in general.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a SOC desirable
- Experience with SIEM tools like AlienVault desirable
- A degree (BSc) in cybersecurity or similar/better
