International Development, within the Institute of Continuing & TESOL Education, is one of Asia-Pacific's leading university development groups. We are recognised for excellence in development through technical leadership, training and capacity building, management and research. We have completed over 500 projects across 80 countries since being established in 1994.
The role
The primary purpose of the role is to support UQID leadership in the management of UQID projects, programs and resource allocations for the unit's international development training and capacity building activities. This includes, developing and maintaining institutional knowledge, guiding and mentoring a team of Development Coordinators, and directly managing a pool of Development Assistants across multiple projects and regions. The role will also provide support to UQID's leadership team through leading tender preparation and building relationships with key stakeholders including funding agencies, government and corporate organisations, and networks across UQ.
The person
Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree and at least four (4) years experience in project management for international development, adult education, or other relevant programs; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education. Additionally, applicants should have significant knowledge of development practice, project monitoring and evaluation.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $85,222 - $93,085 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $99,710 - $108,910 p.a.).
The University of Queensland also offers other competitive options including salary sacrificing, on campus childcare, leave packaging and discounted private health insurance as well as many other benefits.
