Student Employability Centre
The Student Employability Centre is custodian of the UQ Employability Award, and coordinates and promotes a wide range of activities across UQ that empower students to enhance their employability including: global mobility; entrepreneurship and innovation; volunteering and mentoring; undergraduate research experiences; and leadership development opportunities.
The Centre enhances student employability through a focus on experiential learning, ensuring that students are able to capitalise on the benefits of the University's diversity, research reputation and capacity, international partnerships, and strong links with industry and the professions.
The Centre also provides financial supports to enable students to access experiences, as well as supports to translate, articulate, and transfer these experiences into the workplace.

The role
The Scholarship and Grants Coordinator will play a key role in the provision of financial support for students to enable them to access a range of opportunities to enhance their employability. This position will manage the coordination, development, and delivery of a range of scholarship and grants programs ensuring compliance with UQ and government requirements.
The person
Applicants should posses an undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training. You will have high level skills in interpreting and applying guidelines, rules, policies and procedures with the ability to manage a team to deliver student support programs in accordance with internal and external governance.
You will be have proven experience in the delivery of student financial support programs, high level computer proficiency with software packages and enterprise systems along with high level organisational and record-keeping skills.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $77,400.25 to $83,267.08 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17.0% (total package will be in the range $90,558.29 to $97,422.48 p.a.)
The University of Queensland also offers other competitive options including salary sacrificing, on campus childcare, leave packaging and discounted private health insurance as well as many other benefits.
