Job Details

Job function:
-Performs process design calculations and process design simulations
-Develops and maintains P&ID, PFD, equipment datasheets, instrumentation datasheets, equipment lists and line lists.
-Develops and maintains 3D designs using CAD software
-Develops and implements process control systems
-Reviews quotes and technical documentation from vendors and proposes economical selection within the design specs
-Establishes costs budgets and project schedules for new projects
-Liaises and guides contractors on site related matters
-Participates in plant commissioning of new plants/equipment
Requirements
-Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
-At least 10 years of experience with process design
-Experience with liquid chemical synthesis, purification, and separation techniques. Experience with continuous processes is a plus
-Experience with Siloxane chemistry is a plus
-Stationed in Malaysia near Kuala Lumpur within the R&D team of our existing synthesis plant.
