School of Veterinary Science
The School of Veterinary Science has a rich history having been founded in 1936 and has a well-deserved reputation for graduating self-reliant, independent and highly capable veterinarians with plenty of initiative and drive. The School has high quality facilities at the UQ Gatton Campus and maintains a clinic at the Dayboro north-west of Brisbane.
The role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide high quality nursing and technical services within the Hospital and to assist in the undergraduate teaching of veterinary students and Veterinary Technology students in a clinical environment.
The person
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology and/or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent together with nursing experience of at least 2 years. Experience in a specialist referral and/or teaching hospital or relevant veterinary practice is highly desirable.

Remuneration
This is a fulltime continuing appointment at level HEW 4. The remuneration package will be in the range $62,342 - $66,291 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $72,940 - $77,561 p.a. pro-rata).
