Do you have a passion for fine art?

Have you experience of art research, documenting art collections and mounting exhibitions?

Can you help us expose and promote our art exhibitions to a wider national and international audience?

The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery offers innovative art exhibitions and displays treasures from the University Art Collection and the University Library Special Collections. We support opportunities for researchers, students and the general public to understand and appreciate the visual arts through preserving, researching and promoting our collections. You'll help deliver the 'Gestural Abstraction' exhibition in Spring 2020, including documenting exhibition artworks (using KE Emu), supporting the loans administration process and catalogue production, and carrying out basic art research to help create exhibition interpretation, as well as supporting exhibition marketing, events and evaluation. You'll be a point of contact for enquiries and advice on the exhibition and loans. You'll help mount the exhibition (NB this involves lifting, handling and working at height, and a degree of manual dexterity for the use of specialist tools and equipment) and support related events and educational activities.
