Job description
One of my clients headquartered in Indiana, USA is a global leader in designing and manufacturing reconstructive products for sports medicine, biologics and trauma products, as well as dental implants and surgical products. Their mission, together with healthcare professionals is to help millions of people live better lives and collaborate with healthcare professionals around the globe to advance the pace of innovation. Their products and solutions help treat patients suffering from disorders of, or injuries to, bones, joints or supporting soft tissues.
For the EMEA Region, I am looking for an EHS Manager, and this can be based in the following locations:


1. Ideally in Switzerland, in one of the biggest and most beautiful cities in Zurich Region
2. Shannon - Ireland
3. Wales- Cardiff Region
4. France - Lyon Region
In this position you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing management systems to provide high levels of EHS protection. Your focus will be on EMEA Region and the local EHS Specialists/Managers will support on their 10 production sites. You will be responsible for instilling a corporate culture that incorporates the compliance of good EHS practices within normal business activities. Furthermore, your task will be to facilitate and promote integration of environmental sustainability and Business Continuity.


Your Main Responsibilities:


* Developing and providing oversight for EHS Policy and Corporate EHS Management System procedures
* Driving consistent practices across multiple sites
* Advising management and working with site EHS staff to ensure compliance with applicable regulations including REACH, or similar regulations certifications
* Maintaining effective internal EHS audit program
* Monitoring delivery of effective EHS related training

Your Qualifications And Experience:


* Bachelor's Degree in Safety / Environmental Management - or previous experience in the car industry ( automotive) /Pharma/ Biomedical or equivalent with 5-10 or more years' progressive EHS experience within a regulated environment
* International experience developing and implementing Safety Programs
* Auditing and Program Management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English , German and French are a plus
The willingness to travel is essential for this position, as you will be on the road 35% of the time. So if you're into travel within the job, this is the one for you. You will be covering Europe, but travelling from time to time to beautiful Indiana in the USA will also be required for training purposes.
