Can you develop and lead research and innovation in a competitive applied science environment?
Are you able to design and deliver high quality teaching on applied topics at both postgraduate and undergraduate level?
You would be coming to a dynamic environment within the Engineering Geology, Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering grouping within the School of Earth and Environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with a focus on rock and tunnel engineering, to join our team to develop research and teaching at the highest level. You would be expected to deliver world class research, and make a significant contribution to teaching at both taught postgraduate and undergraduate level.You would contribute to the highly successful postgraduate taught MSc programme in Engineering Geology, and the new Masters programme in Transport Infrastructure: Design and Construction (School of Civil Engineering), as well as undergraduate programmes.
