Our Ideal Candidate

The successful appointee will work under an Australian Research Council funded Discovery Project grant on expanding the role of mixture models in statistical analyses of modern-day data sets. It will focus on the development of new and appropriately modified inferential procedures for the analysis of such data sets.

Applicants must have an excellent record of research papers in the statistical literature and the capacity to undertake original research on the project and related areas, leading to publications of high quality. A strong background in Statistics, in particular in multivariate analysis and statistical inference, is essential.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, fixed term position for two years at Academic Level A.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $67,542 - $90,982, plus super of up to 17%.
