Social Worker - Adoption - £37,414
NonStop is working with an Independent Agency in order to recruit for a permanent Social Worker for their adoption service. They offer up to £37,414 per annum, which is a good salary for the area.
The Social Worker will undertake the following:
- be involved in the assessment and preparation pf prospective adopters, supporting them towards the placement of children.
- provide all-round support through training, visits, meetings and advocacy
- will have a small caseload, 12 cases, so that you can effectively work in partnership with adopters to achieve and maintain nurturing and stable placements for children who have experienced trauma in their early lives.
- will be part of a team with regular supervision and access to training.
The ideal candidate will:
- be a Social Worker
- have experience in adoption within an independent agency or within a local authority
- have a HCPC registration and a driving license
