Job Details

The world will change again today.

Help shape its future.

The Department of Management at the University of Bristol is single-minded in its focus to address critically the challenges that face individuals, organisations and society at large during the 21st Century. Our community of international scholars is drawn from a wide range of complementary disciplines; their research and teaching already plays a significant role in shaping global policy and practice.

The Department of Management is transitioning to become a fully-functioning School of Management from August 2020 and this period of exciting growth is creating new opportunities. We are seeking high-calibre, original thinkers and innovators to help us pioneer a cutting-edge School of Management.

Working in tandem with the University's Strategy and new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, we will continue to take a unique interdisciplinary social sciences approach to tackling the big issues triggered by globalisation, inequality, environmental and social sustainability, disruptive technologies, innovation and entrepreneurialism.

This is a rare opportunity to be in the vanguard of unprecedented expansion at a truly world-class university.

We are looking for a high calibre and committed Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in Management with the ability to contribute to other sub-disciplines in business and management studies.

Informal enquiries to Dr Steve Pearce, Director of Teaching, Department of Management, School of Economics, Finance and Management, University of Bristol, Bristol, BS8 1TH: Email: steve.pearce@bristol.ac.uk ; Tel: (0)117 39 40536

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world's leading universities.
