The University of Bristol is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to lead the development and delivery of CI approaches within the Finance Services Division.

The CI Manager will lead the development and implementation of a CI ethos and approach, and to coordinate the service improvement initiatives across Finance Services, working with operational leads of both transactional and business partnering teams.

This will include Continuous Improvement techniques in a number of areas:
  • Customer Purpose
  • Process Effectiveness
  • Measures and Controls
  • Culture and Behaviours
  • Skills and Structures
  • Technology and Innovation

A strong CI methodology requires a combination of supporting tools, templates and accredited training courses to enable organisations to deliver significant efficiency, customer experience and colleague engagement benefits quickly and sustainably.

The University has completed a small number of pilot CI initiatives and is taking the next step to create and embed a culture of continuous improvement within its core values and behaviours.

The closing date for applications will be midnight on Thursday 30th May 2019. For an informal conversation, please contact Rob Logan, Associate Director for Financial Operations & Procurement, on rob.logan@bristol.ac.uk

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world's leading universities.
