Our client is a local authority based near the Bath area, looking for experienced Senior Social Workers for their Adults Safeguarding team. We are looking for Adult Safeguarding Leads whose role will include;

• providing expert advice, support and leadership that motivates social care staff
• supporting staff to work within the legislative and procedural framework of SCC working collaboratively and in partnership to protect Somerset residents through the effective implementation of multi-agency safeguarding arrangements
• leading the adult safeguarding service within a performance management framework that strengthens the delivery of a high performing social care team
• influencing a highly effective and well-managed adult service that places the service user at the centre of our delivery

This local authority is seeking experienced social workers to join their adult's service, they are flexible on experience and will consider social workers that have had a career break. Allowing you to gain experience working alongside a stable management, ensuring you work closely with someone who isn't likely to be replaced in the near future. As well as earn a regular and competitive wage.

Please apply if you extensive experience within a adults with learning disabilities team. You must also have experience in adults services, self-assessments and safeguarding. A Social Work Degree and a HCPC registration are also required.
