Job Details
NonStop Technical is currently working with the global market leader in electric in-wheel powertrain technology. As they represent 80% of the global market potential and offer room for personal development, this is a great opportunity to develop within the industry.
In the position of Embedded Software Engineer you design motor control and safety requirements. You will be part of the software department and you will contribute to the development, implementation, testing and documentation of embedded software.
Responsibilities:
* Create software architecture and document the software for both internal and external use.
* Create test cases and perform tests.
* Program or integrate reusable components in C: protocol stacks, low level drivers, bootloader and diagnostics.
* Analyse the available options for manufacturing and/or purchasing.
Requirements:
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
* Experience in programming languages like C, C++ and assembler.
* Experience in software modelling techniques and tools.
* Experience with model based designing (Matlab/Simulink) and functional safety (ISO 26262).
* Knowledge of automotive specifics like AUTOSAR, OSEK, RTOS, MISRA-C, CAN and Texas Instruments Hercules.
* Experience in development processes and tools (V-Cycle), configuration management (Subversion SVN) and issue management (FMEA).
* Excellent skills in the English language.
