My client is an independent stand alone BRZO chemicals company currently looking for a SHEQ Manager. They welcome applications from experienced SHEQ managers as well as those with relevant experience ready to take the next step in their career.
This position comes with great responsibility, a flat company structure and short communication lines. What they are looking for is a strong independent worker, who works well alone yet can get along with a team of people. Understands what it means to lead by example and promote safety at every level while keeping a strong eye for detail.

* You are responsible for increasing and improving safety and safety awareness in the organisation;
* You are the point of contact for customers, government agencies and auditors regarding QHSE;
* Develop, implement and test the QHSE system that meets the internal guidelines and legal standards of, among others, the ISO;
* Drawing up an internal audit plan, conducting internal audits and supervising external audits;
* Taking care of the improvement actions that result from the internal audits;
* Developing manuals and annual plans;
* Analyse safety issues and draw up improvement plans;
* Organising management meetings, where the goal is to inform the status of the quality systems;
* Inform and advise management and staff on QHSE policy and QHSE issues;
* Complete the formal duties and responsibilities of the Safety Advisor;
