Job Details
The University of Southampton has an ambitious Portfolio of change, designed to help deliver the goals and objectives outlined in our University Strategy.
You will work alongside Directors and/or Deans acting as the interface between the Service/Faculty needs and its people solutions, translating strategic objectives into tangible outputs and support the delivery of the people agenda into the organisation. You will proactively support the leadership team to identify the people and organisational implications of their strategic priorities and proactively support, influence and deliver potential solutions.
Working alongside the Directors and/or Deans, you will embed the University values and core principles to develop people focused strategies and optimum establishment/workforce for the Service.
You will have proven experience of managing significant change and familiarity with project management approaches. You will possess the ability to influence at a senior management level and developing strong, collaborative relationships with key customers and stakeholders and have experience of coaching line managers, providing honest feedback, and developing their ability to effectively manage their people.
