CLP/GHS + DGSA - Senior Global Expert Role - Netherlands

I'm currently working with a leader within synthetic rubbers who have just become and independent subsidiary of a major speciality chemical company. They are going through a rapid growth phase to meet the demands of a variety of industries and in the process of setting up their independent regulatory and product safety team and are now looking for a CLP/GHS expert to join them on a permanent basis.

The role is open due to expansion of the team. This means you will be given the freedom to help put the right procedures in place and act as and expert in your field. The responsibilities are on a global level. You will be in charge to maintain ongoing compliance to the CLP/GHS and Dangerous goods regulations for all products and production sites, communicate with the business regarding issues in your field, Maintain compliance regarding international legislations of handling hazardous chemicals and goods, perform classifications impact assessments on the products, work closely with logistics,…

To be successful:
* Science degree
* Strong knowledge with GHS/CLP regulation
* Proven knowledge with Dangerous Good Management
* SAP-EHS knowledge would be a good plus
* Being certified in Transport legislation would be a good plus
* Fluency in English with good communication skills
* Living in the Sittard (Limburg, Netherlands) area or willing to relocate (relocation package can be provided)
* Valid work permit
