Would you like to prove your ability and gain experience in the delivery of outstanding student education in a leading psychology department at a world-class university?

Do you have expertise relating to perception and human neuropsychology?

This developmental role provides an opportunity for you to deliver an innovative and excellent student experience on Psychology's very popular undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. You will have the opportunity to deliver lectures, practical sessions, seminars and tutorials as well as leading a module and being involved in the assessment, supervision and mentoring of students. You will be student centred in your approach and be able to provide academic support to students. You will be able to deliver and support established teaching in Psychology, principally in the areas of Perception, and Human Neuropsychology, but with the expectation that you will be able to contribute elsewhere in the UG programme.Applicants will have a postgraduate or equivalent qualification in Psychology and have previous teaching experience at both undergraduate and, preferably, post graduate level.

You should have experience of developing and delivering your own teaching using a range of materials and methods and be able to demonstrate experience of student assessment and giving feedback. You will also have excellent computer and IT skills, with effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Experience in undertaking administrative duties will also be an advantage.As a Teaching Fellow, the main focus of the role will be the development and delivery of high quality teaching. However there is an intention that you will have the opportunity to benefit from the research culture and activities within the School in order to help you deliver world class, research informed teaching.
