We are looking for two experienced careers professionals to join Student Careers at The University of Leeds. These exciting roles will work predominantly with students and staff across the following faculties and schools: Arts, Humanities & Cultures, Engineering and Maths & Physical Sciences.

Each role will remain part of the wider Careers Centre team and therefore may also be required to support other schools/faculties depending on the strategic needs identified each year. You will undertake the full range of Careers Consultant duties providing information, advice and guidance to undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates through curriculum, interactive group work and one-to-one interviews. With a pro-active approach, you will focus on student engagement, developing initiatives to reach a broad cohort of students contributing and shaping the strategies of both faculties to enhance the employability prospects of the students. Working in partnership with the existing staff in faculty teams, you will help students make informed decisions, develop strategies and career plans as well as advising on how to present themselves effectively for graduate opportunities. You will also be involved in the development and delivery of accredited career development modules.

You will be capable of managing competing priorities, have a pro-active approach to student engagement, whilst being capable of building professional relationships with key stakeholders across both faculties, the university and with industry partners.
