A Local Authority based in the North West is seeking experienced Social Worker to join their MASH service and are offering excellent rates of pay as well as accommodation support

Furthermore it is a viable option for those candidates who are not based in the area as the Local Authority are prepared to provide funding to support accommodation in the area.

Working in the MASH team you will be working with partner agencies such as police, education and health care to investigate circumstances surrounding children who could be at risk. Current themes in the Local Authority include CSE, County Lines and Missing children so you will have the opportunity to gain exposure on these issues. This can be further expanded on and you will have the option to attend training relating to these issues. Those candidate who are looking to specialise in these areas are encouraged to apply

This is a non case holding post therefore you will not be required to carry out visits and generally the post will see you based in an office with fixed hours of work. Late night visits are not expected of staff and therefore you will have evenings and weekends free.

To be considered for this post you should have experience within a Referral and Assessment or MASH service. To be considered for the higher rates of pay you must have extensive experience in these areas as well as good references.
