Job Details
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our School to provide administrative support to our seven research centres. Based within a small team you will work closely with our academic research staff and provide them with high level administrative support to ensure that their research responsibilities and centre activities are effectively organised.
You should be able to demonstrate a number of competences including attention to detail, flexibility in approach to work, and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines independently. You should have proven administrative experience, including diary management; excellent written and verbal communication skills, dealing confidently with a wide range of people; and possess the customer care skills to deliver a high quality service to our academic staff. Good IT Skills, in particular MS Excel with experience of website maintenance, and the ability to learn to effectively use new systems and software when needed is essential.
The post is on an open ended contract and part time, 28 hours per week/ 0.8 FTE.
The closing date is midnight on Sunday 9 June 2019.
