Private Banking Assistant - CIS market

A very well known Bank in the International Wealth Management market are looking for motivated Assistant Private Bankers. Since they focus a lot on the Russian market, they are seeking at least two Assistants who can join them soon and reinforce their front line.

Tasks:

• Assist Relationship Manager in the day-to-day work servicing clients and handling administrative issues
• Attend incoming calls and ensure that always a prompt action is taken
• Handle the account openings for new clients as well as account changes to existing clients
• Ensure efficient and prompt handling of orders, trades, transactions, payments etc.
• Monitor the maturity list for deposits, loans, trades; take action were instruction is standard, seek instructions (from RM or client) if necessary and required
• Maintain and update records of client instructions, client details and preferences
• Provide clients and Relationship Manager with information and data in verbal and/or written form as needed/requested
• Liaise with other RM-Teams, IC-Sales, Treasury & Trading, Operations & IT
• Prepare clients meetings and business trips
• Ensure always adherence to compliance, legal guidelines, internal rules, regulations & policies etc.
• Deputizing of peers within the team during absences

Requirements:

• 2 or 3 years' experience as a self-motivated Assistant to a Relationship Manager in an international environment, preferably experience with UHNWI clients
• Knowledge in and understanding of investment products, interest of financial market and world news
• Able to work in a team and independently, be well organized, work swift and accurate even when under pressure
• Service and client oriented, discreet and responsible, interested in different cultures
• Friendly, open personality, well-presented and professional appearance
• Very good oral and written language skills in English and German, Russian is an advantage
