Senior Incident Response Manager - Berlin

Incident Response Experts of the world unite - Berlin calling! We have a great opportunity for a Senior Incident Response Manager - someone with both great technical background and people management experience, fluent in English, based in or open to relocating to Berlin, Germany.

About the Role:
Come on board a manage a small team of high performing technical resources with various backgrounds; help grow and build them up specifically for incident response.
Be the head of the incident response team, get involved in the early phases - help move away from just resolving issues and monitoring; create documentation and implement best practises, with time integrate it all into the cloud platform.
Create reliable process based on NIST/CSS framework within CMMI maturity model.
Create the standard that can be adopted on a global level and be rolled out as the process to all of the business around the world - creating a version of a virtual SOC.

But with that comes a growing demand for security experts across different disciplines from penetration testing to incident response and GRC. You will become part of a separate security team which enjoys great freedom in the way they work and that has time to invest in their own research to secure the operations. Additionally to this, you will enjoy flexible working hours and a team of internationals from all over the globe with different expertise, so you can learn from others while being in a flexible environment where you are in control of your day to day activities.

Key Skills and Background:

Experience with working for big companies, implementing, configuring, deploying, security tools.
Experience in risk management in a diverse, fast changing environments.
Previous experience working as information security manager.
Familiarity with one or more cloud vendor services and management tools (AWS, GCP) and DevSecOps processes.
Familiarity with agile practices and processes (Scrum).
Ability to do scripting, query data sources (SQL databases, API, web services), and automation of security tools.
Fluency in English (verbal and written).
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-teams collaborations.
Understanding of People Centric Security.
Strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn new skills and industry trends.
Minimum 3 years experience in Information Security.
Minimum 5 years experience in Security Incident response positions.
Experience in working in a global Security Operations Center.
Strong systems engineering background.
Strong IT and security operations background.
Strong understanding of NIST framework.
Experience with Splunk, Jira, Network security monitoring tools.
Certifications like CISSP and CISA.
