Sales Manager - Animal Health - Germany

We are looking for a Sales Manager for an exciting company focusing on Animal Health in Germany. The best candidate would be someone living in Germany, with native level German, good English skills, at least 2-3 years experience as a Sales Manager within the Pharmaceutical or Animal Health industry.

We are working with an exciting global company that develops, produces, and distributes a range of innovative products to support honey bee health. This role will focus on the German market specifically and report to the European Sales Manager, who will be there to lead the way with strategy and defining objectives, in alignment with the company's objectives. The Germany Area Manager is responsible for the preservation of the company's image towards our customers and on the market in general.

About the role in detail:
SET UP OF THE COMMERCIAL POLICY (10% of the time)
- He/she analyses the German market in order to identify potential growth in the territory.
- In collaboration with sales and marketing team, he/she proposes the sales strategy for each product category (targeted customers, commercial and marketing actions), in order to define an action plan in accordance with the company's policy and objectives.
MANAGEMENT OF THE SALES ACTIONS (80% of the time)
- He/she develops and manages the promotion of the company's product portfolio (in congresses, seminars, visit to company customers or prospects), manages and follows the relationship and projects with the customers and the distributors
- He/she manages and report the customers' complaints and questions with the Technical Manager
- He/she manages the orders (invoicing, pricing, credit limits, logistics) with the Sales Assistant
REPORTING (10% of the time)
- He/she provides every week the report of his/her activity (actions, forecasts) and news of the market (customers feedbacks, key events, possible business opportunities).
- He/she updates the company contact database: customers, prospects, influencers, authorities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- He/she is trained about the good distribution practices for veterinarian medicines, and the overall quality system already in place.
- He/she acts responsibly in accordance with the Quality processes and respects the regulations.
