One of the Lowest Caseloads in London

A Local Authority based in London is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment service which has one of the lowest caseloads across London and the wider South East

Highlights:


  • Lowest caseloads in London and across the South East
  • Duty every 6th week so that there is enough time for Social Workers to attend training and develop their own skills
  • Will have access to a training budget which you can use to attend courses delivered by external providers
  • Excellent levels of support, the team is an established team which is led by a permanent Team Manager
  • The Local Authority does provide opportunities to grow and develop and has number of developmental pathways for those not looking for management roles.
  • Will gain experience working on cases which have CSE, Substance Misuse and Mental Health themes
  • There is a clear and defined training matrix available to all staff, making it clear what need to be completed before progressing

    • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join a high performing Local Authority which can boast one of the lowest caseloads not just in London but the wider South East region. This fact coupled with Duty being held once every 6 weeks mean that staff have the time necessary to attend training courses.

    This post will offer you the opportunity to develop your experience and gain exposure with CSE, Substance Misuse and Mental Health cases as these are some of the more prevalent issues within the Local Authority. You will also have the opportunity to further develop your experience and specalise in these areas.

    To be considered for this post you should have completed your ASYE and have front line experience
