NonStop Technical is working with a leading automotive supplier in the area of transmission systems for the car manufacturers on a global level. The company is currently looking to hire a Sales Engineer in Belgium.

This is an excellent chance to start working more actively with the OEMs around Europe. You will have the opportunity to build a strong network of key players in the industry, thus really starting to make a name for yourself and bringing in new business. This will escalate your progression within the industry and will open doors for you to become a more senior manager and establish stronger relations with your clients overtime. Such an opportunity will massively impact your career development.

Another important fact is that the company specialises with a very innovative product which has applications for electric vehicles and hybrids, which is basically the future of the industry. You will become an expert in this particular field and will have a sustainable job that is closely linked with innovation for many years to come.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for aligning Sales and R&D during the pre-sales phase with a goal to deliver a clearly defined project package at the end of aforementioned stage
  • Be responsible for the follow up of projects that are in mass production
  • Coordinate product and development maintenance to safeguard long term quality
  • Be responsible to further improve Sales processes and the interface processes with other internal departments.
  • Coordination of internal resources (R&D, production, quality, AS&S, top management involvement) to ensure key accounts are well taken care of
  • Frequent visits to (potential) customers are a must
  • Assess, clarify and validate customer needs, proactively and on an on-going basis
  • You are able to work effectively within a team.

Your profile:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Experience in a similar position or as Application Engineer at least
  • Fluent English, ideally also Dutch
  • Ability to travel
  • Commercial acumen
  • Team player
