Prevention Advisor Level 2 or 3 - EHS Advisor - Chemical

My client is an international Chemical Player that is focusing hard on reducing waste in the world and puts a lot of emphasis on circular economy. To improve and maintain their current EHS standards, they are looking for an experienced officer to join the team.

This role is varied and main responsibilities are twofold. Firstly you will be in charge of the technology centre in Belgium. Analyse current procedures and proposed improvements. Make sure all implementations and follow ups are done to continuously improve the EHS performance. Further you will help with organising employee trainings, help with permits and do risk assessments.

Secondly you will have the chance to travel to clients sites from time to time and assist the technical team on EHS matters and conducting audits.

There some procedures and processes in place already, but there is a lot of room to propose changes and to be dealing with the strategic side of things as well.

* Prevention Advisor 2 certificate
* Proven EHS experience
* Fluency in Dutch and English
* Living in the Leuven area or willing to relocate
* Valid work permit
