Job Details
My client is a speciality raw material manufacturer with an international reach. Currently they have an opening for a junior chemistry candidate looking to build initial experience on the job. This role has 2 parts to it. First of all you will help out with quality control work in production: Safeguarding the quality of the raw materials produced. For the second part you will work closely together with the R&D team helping with research for the development of new raw materials. This makes it a unique position where you have enough variation on a daily basis.
You will join an experienced team that can help you with your personal development. At the same time you will work in a modern production environment giving you good exposure with day to day activities of a chemical plant. Being part of an international player will give you opportunities to develop internally into other roles as well.
To be successful:
* Master or Phd in Chemistry
* Experience with GC-MS (Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry), this can be during your studies
* Fluency in Dutch and English
* Valid work permit
* Living in the Wachtebeke (East Flanders) Area or willing to relocate
