Senior Social Worker - Family Centres - West London
Salary: £36,000 to £41,000 per annum including Recruitment Bonuses
As a Senior Qualified Social Worker who will some cases and take the lead on a few assessments. You will work with families in a variety of ways including individual key work sessions, observations, parenting advise and practical family support. Services may be requested from the parenting assessment centre when considering whether to initiate care proceedings; when assessment is required by the Family Court or when reunification with birth family is being considered.
The centre works with families where parents need extra help to ensure their children's long-term welfare needs are met. It also provides a safe environment for looked after children to have supervised contact with their parents, siblings or other family members.
